As a graduate student instructor at the University of Michigan, I taught the discussion section for this special topics course offered by the Department of Theatre & Drama for students of all majors. Dr. Mbala Nkanga gave weekly lectures and graded all assignments. I facilitated the students’ discussion outside of lectures and provided the students with clarification and assistance when necessary.
Discussion section objectives:
- In general, to explore and clarify the concepts discussed in lecture. This discussion section is intended primarily to be a space for learning from your classmates in student-guided discussion.
